'Book Fast' radio cab app unveiled, travel outstation on a one way charge

Zirakpur: A unique radio cab app 'Book Fast' was unveiled here on Monday by three dynamic entrepreneurs of Chandigarh tricity. The app is all set to make rides for commuters in Chandigarh capital region to start with not only smooth and hassle-free, but also pocket friendly. The app was unveiled by N K Sharma, MLA of Dera Bassi.

It is noteworthy that the entrepreneurs already are in the travel trade with their own car fleets. This gives them a major advantage over other players.

“Booking a cab by using Book Fast is pocket friendly for users,” said Anand Pal, Director, CEO and Founder of Book Fast App. Added Pal, “Our model is also financially more beneficial for drivers, whom we consider our partners.”

Rajesh Chopra, Director, Book Fastsaid, “The outstation cab services will be available at one-way rates to anywhere, as our tagline suggests- 'Kahin Se Kahin Bhi'. We offer the outstation services at one-way rates itself. The other applications running in the market are offering the services but there are just some limited locations for one-way routes, the rest other locations are at two-way prices.”

Talking about the App's service coverage area, Sukhleen, COO, Book Fast, said that initially Book Fast will be for local and rental rides in tricity comprising Mohali, Chandigarh, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar and other neighbouring locations.

“For outstation services, to begin with we will be starting with northern parts of the country consisting of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Tricity, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J&K, UP and Rajasthan. Book Fast will be offering outstation services at one-way rates to all locations,” said Sukhleen.

Talking about safety of women travellers, Anand Pal said: “There is proper documentation including police verification of our partner drivers. In an unlikely event of some mishap, the application has an emergency button on the home screen, which can connect the person in distress to the government helpline or our SOS helpline.”

The application is totally free for users and also completely free for drivers to enroll with us. It was informed that there is a referral system in the application also where people could earn from referring their friends. And the user shall receive 100 per cent cash back for their first ride payment.

The service has taken all necessary measures on the COVID-19 safety protocols. "Our drivers and users shall be required to strictly follow all the COVID safety protocols. The vehicles shall be well sanitized and maintained, while the drivers shall be wearing the face masks all the time and the same goes for users," summed up Rajesh Chopra.

Who knows the Chandigarh based radio cab app might soon give the well established apps in the country a run for their money. BW
