Global Family Guest House at Mahabodhi Ladakh

The Global Family Home of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) Leh is a peaceful retreat for travelers in clean comfortable accomodation and green gardens amongst the Himalayas. Guest can enjoy this peaceful seclusion alone or in the lovely company of lively young monks, nuns, school children and delightful elders whithin the unique MIMC community focused on meditation and service.

The MIMC was founded by Buddhist Spiritual Master venerable Bhikkhu Sanghasena, who is internationally renowned for his wisdom and spiritual teachings.



The prominent people who have visited MIMC campus include Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev, Parmarth Ashram Rishikesh head Swami Chidananda, Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati, former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam, Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam, actor Hemant Pandey, British Singer Milli Moonstone, among various others. 

The Global Family Home offers a range of accomodation based on guest requirements, including attached or common bathroom, dormitories and hot water facilities. All guests are provided with three healthy vegetarian meals served daily from the attached restaurant.

CBSE should issue class XII & X merit list to avoid confusion

  Chandigarh : Scores of class 12th and 10th topper students in Chandigarh tricity and thousands others in the country are reeling under despair as their names did not get any mention in the media reports. Though CBSE did not make a merit list for the 12th and 10th boards this year, a list was 'declared' by the newspapers on the basis of a compilation done by the reporters on the basis of results made available to them by different schools. The parents of such left out students have demanded the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to release a "Merit List of Class XII and X results" to remove the confusion amongst the media and public in general. It is alleged that the media collected data from various schools barring a few who followed the directions of CBSE, of 'no merit list'.
