‘Hawa Badlo’ launches ‘Mother Earth Blesses’ initiative


HawaBadlo, an initiative of GAIL (India) Ltd, has launched online campaign #MotherEarthBlesses for creating awareness about clean air and better environment. The initiative invites netizens to take responsibility and adopt befitting lifestyle habits such as planting trees, cycling, walking and carpooling, using public transport, conserving energy and using cleaner energy options. This initiative inspires and motivates younger generation to act upon curbing air pollution.

An engagement contest has been initiated for large participation of people who are enthused to share their stories, poems, and slogans in both photo as well as video showing their positive inclination towards preserving environment and cleaner inhabitant. Ten most interesting stories with befitting photos and videos will be acknowledged for recognition.

#MotherEarthBlesses initiative aims to inspire people for celebrating the festivities by being responsible to each other in view of the current pandemic and also being responsible to mother earth for a better environment.

HawaBadlo is an initiative supported by GAIL (India) Ltd, has been creating awareness and bringing change for a greener and cleaner tomorrow. Hawa Badlo attempts to mobilize collective societal efforts to improve the deteriorating air quality, by encouraging sustainable and environment friendly lifestyle habits. Hawa Badlo movement has been actively working towards educating the masses against air pollution through digital initiatives, events, short films, contests, raahgiri, pledges, etc.

CBSE should issue class XII & X merit list to avoid confusion

  Chandigarh : Scores of class 12th and 10th topper students in Chandigarh tricity and thousands others in the country are reeling under despair as their names did not get any mention in the media reports. Though CBSE did not make a merit list for the 12th and 10th boards this year, a list was 'declared' by the newspapers on the basis of a compilation done by the reporters on the basis of results made available to them by different schools. The parents of such left out students have demanded the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to release a "Merit List of Class XII and X results" to remove the confusion amongst the media and public in general. It is alleged that the media collected data from various schools barring a few who followed the directions of CBSE, of 'no merit list'.
