Chief Justice Ravi Shankar Jha disburses financial aid to the dependents of deceased lawyers

  Chandigarh : Justice Ravi Shankar Jha, Chief Justice, Punjab & Haryana High Court accompanied by Justice Arun Palli, in the presence of Minderjeet Yadav, Chairman, Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana disbursed the financial assistance to the dependents of the deceased advocates at a function organised by Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana at Law Bhawan, Sector 37. The event was attended by functionaries of Bar Council of India (BCI) including Partap Singh, Raj Kumar Chauhaan, Baljinder Saini and others. While addressing the fraternity, Minderjeet Yadav said, “Apart from statutory, enrollment and disciplinary functions, the Bar Council has always worked for the welfare and betterment of the legal fraternity. Euler three-wheeler to be deployed across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai

New Delhi: Euler Motors, an automotive technology OEM focused on electric commercial vehicles (EVs) announced that BigBasket, Flipkart, Udaan, along with other ECommerce, Hyperlocal and B2B delivery players, have placed an order for 2,500 EVs for intra-city deliveries. The companies will deploy Euler Motors’ EV across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai to transform and strengthen their first, mid and last mile operations. Deliveries of these vehicles are scheduled to take place in the next 6-8 months. CBSE should issue class XII & X merit list to avoid confusion

  Chandigarh : Scores of class 12th and 10th topper students in Chandigarh tricity and thousands others in the country are reeling under despair as their names did not get any mention in the media reports. Though CBSE did not make a merit list for the 12th and 10th boards this year, a list was 'declared' by the newspapers on the basis of a compilation done by the reporters on the basis of results made available to them by different schools. The parents of such left out students have demanded the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to release a "Merit List of Class XII and X results" to remove the confusion amongst the media and public in general. It is alleged that the media collected data from various schools barring a few who followed the directions of CBSE, of 'no merit list'.
